The sitting area is comfortably furnished, complete with a baby grand piano and our newest edition is a 50" screen television. The dining room has a fireplace and large terrace where a gourmet breakfast is served during the summer months.
The rooms are romantically furnished with antiques and collectibles. All of the rooms have canopy or four-poster beds, except for one which has a wrought-iron bed, and are either full, queen, or king-sized. Rooms with private baths are available. All of the rooms are air-conditioned and most of them have color, cable television.
The grounds have a park-like setting dotted with lounge chairs. Relax next to our large water garden full of Koi or browse Vonnie's Studio and see her many creations.
The Inn is conveniently located steps from the historic Heights village, many delicious restaurants, and the Town Dock. Shelter Island is just a short ferryboat ride from the Hamptons on the South Fork and Long Island Wine Country on the North Fork.
The Inn has a perfect intimate setting for small weddings and private parties.
